Copy CSS in Photoshop CS6 13.1

Skill level
Beginner

For you designers out there, there’s now an easier way to generate CSS from your Photoshop mockups! The new Copy CSS feature will grab Layer Styles and type properties, and turn them into pure CSS! Check out the video below to get the scoop!

This new feature will save a lot of time, especially if you’re like me, and not too fluent in CSS. No more generators, no more trial and error. Straight from Photoshop to CSS!

  • Hey guys!
We are excited from this feature as well. For more than 6 months we offer Photoshop plugin CSS Hat which is even more sophisticated and can be used by users of CS4 & newer. Check http://csshat.com for more information!

    Great stuff!
Is there any way to make it pixels or ems? Inches are probably the worst to use for web-design.

(And it was missing a few versions of the CSS3 properties, and #something is an id not a div.)

Hi, I have a little confusion. When I update Photoshop, it says the available latest version 13.0.2 to which I already have updated. I can see that HiDPI is enable but I don’t see that Copy CSS thing in Photoshop. Any idea about what’s going on?

@mauryaratan Yep, me too. This function is not available, even after the upgrade.

@IceflowStudios  @mauryaratan Thanks guys. I came to know about this the other day. No worry CSSHat does the great job.

@nathan you won’t get an update because Adobe treat full license buyers as second class citizens so all the updates you will have to pay for in CS7 !
