In episode 2 of the AE101 series, we will be diving into After Effects to take a look at how to keyframe and animate something. Keyframes are very universal so if you’re familiar with keyframing things in Premiere, Final Cut, etc, you can skip this tutorial and move on to episode 3. Keyframes are like benchmarks or checkpoints, you make the “key” frame and After Effects will do whatever it takes to meet all those keyframes or “checkpoints” you’ve made. In the next episode, we will be taking a look at how to apply Effects and do simple animation with them to give your project a little ‘spark’.
